John Hartley Williams

John Hartley Williams is a British poet who was born in Cheshire and grew up in London. He studied at Nottingham University and later at the University of London. His poetry book Blues was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize. Death Comes for the Poets, a collaborative novel written with Matthew Sweeney, was published in 2013.
