The Cork Synagogue is the venue for our David Marcus remembrance reading. Cork-born author David Marcus has been described for very good reasons as the Godfather of the contemporary Irish short story. We mark the first year of his passing with a reading of his story “Who’s Ever Heard of an Irish Jew” by actor Jack Healy. Ticket only.

Our narrative poetry & short story workshops will be held at the Munster Literature Centre on Saturday, 18th September, 9.30am-11.30am. Workshops will start promptly, so it is best to arrive in town early to find parking and make your way to the Centre. There is a small car park in White Street, off of Douglas Street. Otherwise parking is available on South Mall or at College of Commerce. Be advised that parking discs are needed in most of the City Centre.
